Rawnsley Park

The first week of the July School Holidays saw us in Rawnsley Park next to Willpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges. It's a working farm that has branched out into the tourist trade and has quite a good caravan park. We stayed for a week and drove through some fantastic gorges and valleys. Following is some pictures of the Flinders around Willpena Pound.

on our way to climb Rawnsley Bluff

notice how much fun everyone is having, especially Sophie

It was a long walk but the view of Willpena Pound was worth it

Whilst we were in the Flinders, we had the opportunity to take a flight over Willpena Pound. I think it is the only way to see the amazing rock formations. The kids were pretty excited as it was the first time they had been in a plane.

I could keep adding more but I think you get the drift how speccy it looks.

Well that's all for now, I will add some more pics another day

Just a test

I'm testing a new program on my iTouch that allows me to write this blog on the go, so this message won't mean much
